RETURNS POLICY

At KABUKI, we want to ensure that you’re happy with your purchase and have the best experience possible with us.

It’s very important you view our size guide or email us at hello@kabukiactive.com or live chat with us on www.kabukiactive.com with any questions you may have about sizing before purchase to ensure your garments fit perfectly.

If you find you have ordered the wrong size, we are more than happy to exchange if for you to your correct size if we have it available in stock. If your size has sold out, we can offer you a store credit to the returned item(s) amount so you can repurchase from our online store (store credit is treated like a gift card and is valid for 3 years*).


FREE RETURNS AVAILABLE

KABUKI Active offers free returns to Australian customers for store credit and exchange when notifying us via email within 14 days of the purchase date, and items are returned within 30 days of the purchase date.

First time customers will be eligible for a refund on their first purchase ONLY which is subject to a return fee calculated at time of return. Please note, final sale items are not included in this policy and are unable to be returned.


STARTING YOUR RETURN

  • To begin the return process, please email us at hello@kabukiactive.com with the subject: RETURN
  • Please contact us within 14 days of your purchase date to get this process started. You then have 30 days from the date of purchase your items to send it back to us for a full store credit. 
  • If your return meets our requirements, you’ll be emailed a free return shipping label to use for your items to be returned back to us. NOTE: First time customers, return shipping fees will apply. 


RETURN REQUIREMENTS

  • Unworn, unwashed, original packaging, gift bags & tags attached.
  • No stains, fake tan, odours, pet hair, or damage.
  • Not a final sale item.
  • No returns on underwear, towels, socks, or drinkware.
  • The hygiene Label is attached and not damaged.
  • KABUKI Active reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these requirements. Rejected returns will be sent back, and shipping fees will be recovered.


Please note: Customers must upload photo evidence when submitting a return request for swimwear or faulty items. 


REFUNDS

  • First-time customers: Refunds to the original payment method (return shipping fee applies).
  • Returning customers: No refunds unless the item is faulty and approved by KABUKI Active.
  • Change-of-mind and size refunds are not covered under ACCC regulations.


STORE CREDIT & EXCHANGES

  • All orders (excluding final sale) are eligible for store credit (valid for 3 years).
  • One-time size exchanges available; returning an exchange = store credit only.
  • Shop Now Exchange Bonus: Bonus credit must be used immediately (not transferable).
  • Exchanges are stock-dependent and only processed once your return has arrived back to us and been inspected by our customer service team. Stock cannot be held or guaranteed for exchanges.

 

We unfortunately do not do exchanges or refunds for items based on “change of mind”, items marked as SAMPLE and swimwear bottoms.

"FINAL SALE" or “SAMPLE” ITEMS: 

No exchanges or change of mind refunds will be accepted on items stipulated as "FINAL SALE" or “SAMPLE”, at the time of original purchase.

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept swimwear bottoms for exchange or return. Items listed as SAMPLE are discounted because of known faults and you buy at your own risk. SAMPLE products are NOT eligible for return.

Please be careful when trying on your items as we do not issue exchanges for items with stains on them like makeup and fake tan.

Each product goes through quality control checks before being shipped to you, however in the unlikely event there is a manufacturing fault, please contact us at hello@kabukiactive.com to begin the exchange process.

Please include your name, order number, and what item(s) you’re returning. We recommend using a tracking method to ensure safe delivery back to us.

If your parcel does not return to us, or becomes damaged we will be unable to complete the exchange. Once your item has been returned to us, been inspected and is in fact been deemed faulty, you will offered a store credit equal to the amount of the return item.

Exchanges received without the appropriate documentation will not be accepted.


CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). We encourage all customers to review their consumer rights under relevant Australian legislation.
